Mark 3
Talking about Jesus here: "...he had looked round about on them with anger, being grieved for the hardness of their hearts..." Mark 3:5
"How can Satan cast out Satan? And if a house be divided against itself, that house cannot stand." Jesus said in Mark 3:23 and 25. So we don't need to waste our lives fussing and fighting with our husbands. We don't want a divided household. Husband's in charge so, it's really up to us ladies to see that the household isn't divided. We're the ones that could do the dividing if we are fussy about taking charge. This is rebellion to God sistah.
Mark 4
"And he said unto them, 'Why are ye so fearful? how is it that ye have no faith?'" Mark 4:40. That was when Jesus calmed the storm out on the sea and His disciple homies be like: Jesus calmin even the sea, ain't never seen that befo. Child?
Mark 5
Loving this part when this sweet suffering lady knew if she could just touch Jesus's cloak in a crowd of people, perhaps she would be made well. Which He did, and afterward He said to her, "Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague." Mark 5:34
Mark 7
"There is nothing from without a man, that entering into him can defile him, but the things which come out of him, those are they that defile the man." Jesus in Mark 7:15
Mark 8
"Get thee behind me, Satan," Jesus in Mark 8:33
Mark 9
The father of a sick child goes to Jesus for help. "Jesus said unto him, 'If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.' And straightway the father of the child cried out, and said with tears, 'Lord I believe; help my unbelief.'" Mark 9:23-24. This can be our prayer when we sorta kinda have faith but we know it's lame-o and we need His help in getting real with our faith.
Mark 11
"What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them." Mark 11:24. There's ye olde Ask And Ye Shall Receive plaque, it really is in the Bible.
Mark 13
When under attack, Jesus says Yo, no worries, "for it is not ye that speak, but the Holy Ghost." Mark 13:11
Mark 14
Before Jesus is crucified, willingly by the way, He could've totally run away or had God send hundreds of angels to rescue Him but still, it's not fun, it was agonizingly terrible and He says, "My soul is exceeding sorrowful unto death," Mark 14:34 and I wrote in my Bible: "so he prayed."
