Job 19
So Job was extremely wealthy and has lost everything and is in total anguish, is afflicted in every way, and his friends are all telling him it’s his sin and his fault that this happened to him which is not true at all, and his wife even tells him to curse God and die. But he remains faithful and says, “Should we receive good but not evil from God?” “For I know that my redeemer liveth.” Job 19:25
In Job 19:23 he says in his despair, “O that my words were written in a book somewhere.” Which, is amazing now because they are written in the book and you just want to shout at your Bible and tell Job to hang on, don't worry, sit tight Job, God is going to make it right and what happened to you will be read about throughout all of history. And triumphant chicks will be all abuzz about it on their website.
Job 37
“Stand still, and consider the wondrous works of God.” Job 37:14
Job 42
When God finally does appear to Job at the end, Job says “I have heard of thee by the hearing of the ear: but now mine eye seeth thee. Wherefore I abhor myself, and repent in dust and ashes.” Job 42:5-6
Then God restored all his wealth and possessions after Job prayed, “the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before…So the Lord blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning: for he had fourteen thousand sheep, and six thousand camels, and a thousand yoke of oxen, and a thousand donkeys.” Job 42:10, 12
