Here are Haggai and some other dudes, the last of my verses I like from the Old Testament.
“My spirit remaineth among you: fear ye not.” Haggai 2:5
“He that toucheth you toucheth the apple of his eye.” Zechariah 2:8 Elt.
So that is where that expression comes from, and nice to know that we are the apple of the Father’s eye, He loves us so much.
“Not by my might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord of hosts.” Zech 4:6
“They are the eyes of the Lord, which run to and fro through the whole earth.” Zech 4:10
“And this shall come to pass, if ye will diligently obey the voice of the Lord your God.” Zech 6:15
“And did not he make one? Yet had he the residue of the spirit, and wherefore one? That he might seek a godly seed.” Malachi 2:15
“For I am the Lord, I change not.” Malachi 3:6
Shiver. He doesn't change. I love that He doesn't change. We can depend on that.
