Acts 1
"But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me..." Acts 1:8
"These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication." Acts 1:14
Acts 2
"And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers." Acts 2:42
Acts 4
"For we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard." Acts 4:20 Can't help but talk bout da Lawd.
"...that with all boldness they may speak thy word." Acts 4:29
Acts 5
"...We ought to obey God rather than men." Acts 5:29
"...for if this counsel or this work be of men, it will come to nought: But if it be of God, ye cannot overthrow it." Acts 5:38-39
Acts 6
"But we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word." Acts 6:4
Acts 7
"...ye do always resist the Holy Ghost..." Acts 7:51 Not a compliment
Acts 8
"For I perceive that thou art in the gall of bitterness, and in the bond of iniquity." Acts 8:23
Acts 16
"And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one's bands were loosed." Acts 16:26 From a teacher at church I wrote in my Bible, "When God allows us to be sifted in hard times, we're freed from chains afterward."
"And they said, 'Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house." Acts 16:31
Acts 20
"But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God." Acts 20:24
Acts 26
I wrote "Ha!" in the margin here, because it cracks me up how Paul is constantly witnessing to everyone, including king Agrippa who is interrogating him: "Then Agrippa said unto Paul, 'Almost thou persuadest me to be a Christian.'" Acts 26:28
Acts 27
"Wherefore, sirs, be of good cheer: for I believe God, that is shall be even as it was told me." Acts 27:25. I love the part about: Look, I believe God, whatever happens I'll believe Him, I'll believe His word.
I highlighted "Holy Spirit" or "Holy Ghost" what seems like dozens of times in the book of Acts. The Spirit was a-movin y'all.
